World Cup and Summer Portuguese Camp Time
This is it. I intended to do more this summer but between the two items above and work my intentions fell apart.
This is ok.
We will resume end of July, beginning of August.
Coming up north we went to the Wisconsin Dells and took a tour on the Wisconsin River and learned about the geology and history of the location.
In Minneapolis we visited our friends and spent a day at the Mall of America.
In Fargo, the summer is a fantastic month to visit and explore outdoors. I went kayaking on the Red River, an activity offered by the park district. The cost was $10 per hour. I went for a walk in Lindenwood Park, and from Lindenwood Park crossed the bridge to Gooseberry Park in Moorhead, crossed the bridge again and took a walk along the Red River trail; this took about two hours. I spent a morning at Island Park which has great playgrounds and fields. On my first afternoon I walked over the Red River zoo, which I see from my window. Most morning I worked from the library Fargo is very pretty, very friendly, and very clean. The people are genuinly friendly and hospitable, and interested in you. I would gladly return and even bring the kids here.
